The FCC Preschool

Welcome to The FCC Preschool, an early education program of the First Congregational Church of Natick for children two years, nine months to five years of age.  The Preschool is licensed by the Massachusetts Department of Early Education and Care (DEEC) and upholds accreditation from the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC).  For over 45 years, the Preschool has provided a first-rate program for families of young children.  We go above and beyond the standard.  The FCC is where learning makes your heart smile!

Our spacious classrooms furnished with attractive materials of discovery and exploration as well as our excellent teacher-child ratio allows children to investigate in a nurturing, friendly environment.  Our setting provides each child with the tools essential for building a solid foundation of trust and understanding.  Within our classrooms, teachers create wonderful learning experiences, and they encourage thinking, creative development, and endless opportunities for growth.

We recognize that children learn through positive experiences that cultivate a great start in school.  We believe that when children see themselves succeeding, they feel good about themselves, and with every success, they reap unending rewards.  We build upon the foundation of each child’s experiences and create interesting and appropriate lessons that challenge each child to reach his/her full potential.  In addition, we provide the support needed to foster a healthy self-esteem and skill development.  Our goal is to guide every child to be the best s/he can be in all aspects of life.

One vital element in assuring a successful preschool experience is effective communication between home and school.  We encourage parents to share their ideas and participate in their child’s classroom to cultivate this connection.  Daily news updates, calendars, notices, newsletters, and parent/teacher conferences, are just a few communication resources available to parents.  The director, teachers, and parents work together to create an environment that is respectful, warm and welcoming, tolerant of differences, and supportive of the wonderful diversity in our community.

We welcome you to join our efforts and become part of our Preschool family.  After reviewing our materials, touring our school, and meeting our teachers, we are confident you will choose to join us.  We trust your child’s experience here will be one that both you and your child will remember fondly for years to come.  Call the Preschool Office at 508-655-2171 to schedule an appointment to visit us.
